If you’re thinking “wow I can’t believe it’s already that time of year again”, you’re not completely wrong. Historically, I’ve started this project in October or November. However, I’m trying something new this year and starting in September!
Last year, I had asked if we should start a month earlier so we could get the bags packed and handed out earlier since I’ve yet to wrap the project up before the end of the year as I always hope to do. It was either this or wait until after the holidays, and I chose the former because I think people tend to be burned out after the holidays and I want to give this project the best chance we can.
So here we are on September 1st kicking off the 5th Annual Project! We will collect donations in September and October, and pack and hand out the bags in November. I hope to have them all out before Christmas at the absolute latest🤞
My goal for this year is to raise $2000! This was my goal last year as well and we fell short, so I thought we’d just try again! Not to mention things are getting more expensive so we’d truly need about $2000 to get all the items we have on our list.
I will of course be asking you to help make some decisions on how we spend donations, so make sure you’re staying up to date:

I can’t believe it’s already been 5 whole years since I started this project, and I am so grateful for those who have continued to support year after year.
