About Me

Hi, I’m Brittney Roblero — a Florida native now living in New England, married (May 2024!), and still proudly holding onto my maiden name for this little corner of the internet. Traudt’s Two Cents was just too good to give up.
I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember; from childhood notes and poems to travel blogs and life reflections. Writing has always been my favorite form of freedom and self-expression, a place to process, celebrate, question, and grow.
I’m a self-published children’s book author, including The Adventures of Shelly and Coco series, inspired by my “New Year, New Place” tradition I started at 20. I also created a Budget Journal after paying off more than half of my student loans post-grad, a journey I share openly here.
While travel is my main focus, this blog is ultimately my public journal, covering life events, money, meaningful projects like my annual homeless care packages, and whatever else is on my heart.
